The following are questions that are frequently asked for us to answer:

Where is Jasper, New York?

Jasper, New York, is a small town located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.  It has a population of around 1,100 people.  The nearest big city is Corning, New York, about a half hour to the east of Jasper.  We are only a few miles from the Pennsylvania state line.

Do you have a store we can visit?

No, we do not have a cash register store.  We are a restoration company and have a large shop where restorations are performed.  If you are going to be in the area and would like to visit us, please call ahead of time.  If the timing is convenient, we will be more than happy to show you around.

Do you buy cash registers?

We are always looking for cash registers to purchase.  However, since we have a large inventory of cash registers already, we don't buy every register.  If you have a cash register you would like to sell, please e-mail us a picture along with the price and we will get back to you.  If we are not interested, we may be able to steer you in the direction of someone who might be.

How do I determine the model number of my cash register?

The model and serial numbers are usually located on a tag on the front of the machine.  If this tag is missing, the information might be found on a paper tag on the bottom of the cash drawer.  It is very important to make every effort to determine the model number of your machine before contacting us with questions.

How old is my cash register?

Brass cash registers were manufactured for only twenty-seven years.  Therefore, the exact age is generally not that important.  You can look on the register information section of our web site and there you'll find a chart with serial numbers corresponding to shipping dates.

Are smaller cash registers worth more than big cash registers?

Not necessarily.  In cash registers, size does not matter.  Smaller registers tend to be more desirable, therefore, making them more sought after, which gives the impression that they are worth more money.

How do I ship my cash register to the HBAC Group?

Please refer to our Contact Us section of our web site.  We list information on how to ship machines in this section.

Do you do anything else besides cash registers?

No.  Our business is dedicated solely to antique cash registers.
